MEMORIAL WEEKEND 2013
In observance of Memorial Day Ballet Ouvert will be closed on Saturday May 25 and
Monday May 27th, 2013.

This year's Summer Recital "Silverscreen" is a musical revue that takes you through the past 85 years of the most popular Hollywood classics. The performance will appeal to kids and adults as we remember the music from those films we loved and enjoyed.

Summer Camp for ages 4 to 11
The camp will consist of Dance classes including Ballet, Jazz, Flamenco, Cheerleading, Musical Theatre, Modeling and Etiquette among other activities. For more information stop by the front desk and get your registration. Space is limited and we will accept registrations on a first come basis.
BALLET OUVERT IS OPEN FOR REGISTRATION AND CLASSES.
Please pick up a registration form at the studios' front desk. If you register to take classes before March 9 you will be able to participate in the summer performance.

IMAGINE – Ballet Ouvert's Annual Summer Recital.

Ballet Ouvert is proud to present its highly anticipated summer performance IMAGINE, a fascinating journey of dance and music in which we find ourselves in a versatile exploration of the world as we imagine mystical places and times.
This colorful performance will have a line-up of contemporary and classical works making it a wonderful show for the entire family. IMAGINE is the perfect way to introduce young children to the power and beauty of dance as our talented dancers embark in a colorful and dynamic journey of mystery and imagination that will showcase all different levels of dance classes offered at Ballet Ouvert.
Ticket prices start at just $25 and are on sale to the general public from Monday – Saturday at Miramar's Cultural Center Box Office, 2400 Civic Center Place, Miramar (Red Road, North of Miramar Parkway) or by phone at 1.954.602.4500. Established in 2004, Ballet Ouvert is centrally located between Hialeah and Miami Lakes and offers a strong and solid dance curriculum, with Classical Ballet as its core. Under the direction of Artistic Director, Sonia Huelbes, Ballet Ouvert offers several levels of Pointe technique and Partnering classes for aspiring professionals as well as several levels of Jazz, Contemporary, Flamenco and Hip Hop classes.
During the last two years the studio has expanded both in number of students and space.

The Miami Laker (March 14, 2011) Dancing for the Cause - A Dance Performance by Ballet Ouvert supporting the 2012 Relay for Life of Miami Lakes, FL.
Saturday, March 24th at 7:00 p.m.

Ballet Ouvert will host its First Inaugural Fundraising Performance "Dancing for the Cause" with all proceeds going towards supporting the 2012 American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Miami Lakes. Ballet Ouvert has formed a Relay for Life Team to assist the city of Miami Lakes to meet their fundraising goals this year. Lauren Diaz is the Team Captain and together with many of Ballet Ouvert's dancers will be participating in this performance. "Our team is working hard to help ensure this terrible disease never steals another year of someone's life. Please help us by supporting this event."
With over 50 students participating, this event will showcase a variety of dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Flamenco and Hip Hop. The Miami Laker (Nov. 19, 2010) Ballet Ouvert schedules Holiday Season show on December 5 at Miramar Cultural Center.
Ballet Ouvert will present its Holiday Season performance “An Enchanted Christmas” on Sunday, December 5th at 7:00 pm at the Miramar Cultural Center.
This magical production filled with vibrant costumes and choreographed by Artistic Director Sonia Huelbes. It tells the story of a family Christmas celebration at the Andersons’ home and their youngest daughter’s excitement for Christmas and for her older sister’s ballet recital.
It is a tale of childhood innocence and the power of dreams coming to life through music and dance.
This year’s Holiday performance promises to be yet another wonderful presentation by Ouvert’s talented Ballet and Jazz students and their dedicated instructors. Students from all dance classes and levels offered at Ballet Ouvert will be performing.
